I had a White Brothers SuperTrapp exhaust on my Yamaha SR540. The muffler body cracked where the mount was welded to the body and White Brothers replaced it. Then the second muffler's spot welds where the baffle tube welded to the end plate broke. The end plate "flapped" with every beat of the exhaust in the area of the single securing screw until it cracked the muffler body all around the screw. It appears your end plate cracked one the outside of each screw and blew out. Not so sure I want another SuperTrapp exhaust. I am thinking of asking Bub Enterprises (www.bubent.com)if they have a slip on that might work, they make mufflers for Harley's, they're right here in town.
